Brussels Sights, Sounds and Hotels

Rue des Bouchers is a narrow cobbled street, Butcher’s Street, a few blocks away from the Grand Place, and is crammed with restaurants, the predominant amount of which display heaped stacks of practically every kind of marine delicacy. The persistent waiters vie for the tourists that frequently pass along Butcher’s Street. Entertaining as this is street is however, it is suggested that you are careful as to which restaurant you decide to patron. At number 13 there is Aux Armes de Bruxelles which is a rather formal affair who’s menu includes creamy fish stew amoung other Belgian classics, and at number 18 is Chez Léon which haphazardly inhabits a number of gabled houses and is well-known for serving great portions of mussels and chips.

Brussels has become the undisputed crossroads of Europe and buzzes with proverbial electricity. Enjoy a meal, or savour a beer in Rue des Bouchers, or in any one of the splendid Brussels restaurants and absorb the energized atmosphere. Allow yourself to be pampered and spoiled at the excellent Brussels Hotels where you will be warmly welcomed and will never want to leave.
